6/17/2010 - Assault/robbery on West Vineyard Ave., Oxnard

A 35-year-old Oxnard man was robbed and assaulted by two suspects about 10:30 p.m. June 5 while he was walking in the 400 block of West Vineyard Avenue in Oxnard.  Personal property valued at $250 was taken.

The suspect pictured in the sketch is a Latino man in his early 20s, between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-8. He is about 170 pounds with short black hair and a thin brown mustache, police said.

The other suspect is described as 170 pounds, 20 to 25 years old and between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-7 with short black hair.

5/14/2010 - Homicide on East Yucca St., Oxnard

On 5/13/2010 at approximately 7:00 pm, a vehicle with several subjects was traveling W-B in the 500 Block of E. Yucca St. The occupants of the vehicle noticed several subjects standing in front of a house. Looks were exchanged between the two groups and the driver of the vehicle stopped the car. One of the occupants of the vehicle got out of the car and began to fight with a subject from the second group. While the fight was going on, an unidentified subject produced a handgun and fired striking Rivera who was initially a passenger in the car. Rivera was standing outside of the car when he was shot. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

5/10/2010 - Oxnard Home Invasion Robbery

 

On 5-8-10 at around 1015 hours, Oxnard Police Officers responded to a home invasion robbery in the 1300 block of Torero Drive. Upon arrival the victims told the officers that the suspects knocked on the door of their residence. The victims could see that the suspects were wearing security guard badges. One of the victims opened the door and was immediately taken to the ground and tied up. The victim that answered the door sustained a minor abrasion that required no medical treatment. The suspects went upstairs where they tied up several more victims. The suspects ransacked the residence and left with an undisclosed amount of property. The victims saw the suspects were driving a black sports utility vehicle and left in an unknown direction. There were 5 victims in the residence at the time of the robbery.  The suspects were described as an Asian male, 20-30 yrs old, thin build, Hispanic male, 30`s, muscular build, and an Asian male, 30`s, heavy set. Composite sketches of the suspects are attached.

5/4/2010 - 13 Year Old Girl Shot in Head in Oxnard Drive-by

On 4/27/10 at around 7:22PM, a 13 year old girl was shot in the head during a drive-by on Hill Street in Oxnard.  The shooter got out of the passenger side of a vehicle similar to the one in the picture.  It was described as a late 90’s dark green GMC or Chevrolet Suburban.  It departed the area Westbound on Hill Street.
